VR goggles for the ‘big screen’
The VR goggles that are going to replace your TV in the near future are probably going to be a little bigger than what you’re used to.
They’re going to weigh in at up to 200 pounds and, according to a report in Bloomberg, they’re going on sale by the end of the year.
That’s about the weight of a paperback book.
So the next big thing is going to have to be something that’s big enough to carry a full person and hold a full head of hair, and that’s going to cost a little more than the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive.
But the Oculus and Vive have been around for a while now.
The HTC Vive’s Kickstarter campaign raised $7 million, and a lot of people were hoping the company would bring us something similar to the Oculus, but instead they delivered a big fat laptop.
Now that the Oculus has been out for a year, the developers at HTC are ready to start selling the Vive, but they’re still not ready to sell their own headset.
That is where Pit Viper goggles come in.
The company that has been making VR goggles since 2007 is now making a $400 headset that is designed specifically to be used with the Vive.
The Vive is set to launch in early 2017, but in the meantime, Pit Viper’s team has been hard at work building the goggles.
They have already developed the lenses, the controllers, and the tracking system.
It’s not clear when the first consumer Vive headset will be ready, but we expect it to arrive this summer.
The new headset is being made by the same company that made the $1,000 Vive headset, and it’s already been accepted into the Oculus headset certification program.
You can buy a pair of the Pit Viper glasses for $300 on Amazon right now.
It will be available in November for $350.
Pit Viper isn’t the only company making VR headsets.
In December, Valve announced that it had also received a VR headset certification.
But it’s not as simple as that.
Valve says that they had to get a lot more testing done than the Rift and Vive, and they also had to go through a lot longer validation process.
There are a lot going on behind the scenes that have to go into a certification.
That means that some things like the tracking of the head-mounted display, for example, or the ability to use different lenses for different things, may not be working as well as Valve hoped.
That said, Valve is very confident that the Vive headset can do all of the things it promises, and Pit Viper is just getting started.
The Verge contacted Valve to ask if the Vive is ready to go, and so far the company has not responded.
